TikTok #Tattoogate! Tattoo artist faces backlash over design changes.

As you know, Tiktok is a broad social media platform where you can share your life events. People use Tattoos as a part of their discussion. Tattoos are used all over the world as an art for conservation. But certain individuals and locations still see it as somewhat forbidden.

Many people are concerned about the #tattoogate on Tiktok. A tattoo artist gets more money from their customer for a tattoo, and that’s why it is called a tattoo gate. You can here see the latest Harrogate news that got viral on Tiktok.

What is a tattoo gate on Tiktok?

Lindsey Joseph is a #tattogate artist who creates a Harrogate drama on the 10th of May.

This drama got viral because of an unknown character named Courtney Monteith. The mother of three explained her conversations with Joseph in a video before showing a tattoo drawing that didn’t match the design she had wanted.

2.7 million People have seen this video on Tiktok and got more viral. And also, a sketch made by Justine Lucy, a user and tattoo artist of Courtney’s first video, received 2.3 million views and more than 187K likes on Tiktok.

The tattoogate fee was quite Optional.

Courtney posted a video of the contract with Joseph for creating a tattoo design for their requirement, but he charged a high price and couldn’t give them the desired design that she wanted. She paid a $1,000 appointment deposit, an extra $85 consultation cost, and a design fee of $1,600. But the design is not really as she likes.

Courtney said.: “At first I thought that price was going to be taken out of the final cost of my tattoo, but then I found out it was not,.”

And Courtney also tells the truth about her bad experience with Joseph. She said that she was given three different designs with different fee options. The lowest design was a concept drawing with minor changes to the artist’s initial design. These options ranged in price from $1,500 to $6,000.

Courtney wants a refund from Joseph for their bad design, but Joseph rudely replies:

“No. I’m not refunding you anything, I have given you options of moving forward. I have been kind, patient, and have fulfilled my duties to you this [sic] far. If you don’t want to move forward, that is your choice, but I’m not giving you my time, expertise, and creativity for nothing.”

After all this hectic situation with the client, Courtney thinks that she can’t make a deal with Joseph, but unfortunately, she loses about $2600 on this process.
