“I deserve the spotlight,” Lizzo told PEOPLE earlier this year. “I deserve the attention. I’m talented, I’m young, and I’m hot. You know? And I’ve worked hard,” adding that “I don’t think I’m the only kind of fat girl there is. I want us to be freed from that box we’ve been put in.”
Lizzo posted a video on Instagram on 27 December that receives a reaction from Rapper Dababy.
Lizzo’s name is scribbled on a Post-it note underneath Austin Butler, the actor who would host the program that night, with the phrase “Surprise,” which can be seen on Lizzo’s Instagram page.
